ATL was set on fire later this week – and not only due to sunlight. Grind Preity Fest 2025 drawn with strength, purpose and pure magic for its fifth anniversary, and rely on me, the year was the most prestigious yet.
Organized from 11–13 April at the Vibrant West Side Cultural Arts Center, the three-day festival was a masterclass that comes when invincible women come together to break the construction, brand and brake boundaries. And yes, there were hype hair on every soundbite and sister connection caught.
Five years of fantastic
What begins as a dream by beauty boss Mimi J and Ever-Legandary DJ Tracy Steel, bloom in a fully developed movement. Peace Preity is not just a celebration – this is a force. With more than $ 35,000 investment in women -led brands over the years, this community has been beautiful grinding and aimed at purpose.

Walking inside, you knew that this was not your average women empowerment incident – you felt the vibe. Electric. Crowd? All Queens. Target? Empower black women to empower.
Power panel + game-changing gems
From Tech to Trademark, the weekend was packed with workshops and panels that deepened – business credit hack, AI strategies, and how to really build heritage. Whether you are launching your first product or scaling for seven figures, these sessions dropped the gems that change you forever.
And let’s not forget the $ 5,000 elevator pitch competition – bold vision on a mission to secure that business funding bag and a live face of brave boss women! These fierce founders will inspire and inspire anyone to see the pitch with power and poetry and it definitely inspired me.
DJS + Dance Break = Therapy
Of course, no piece beautiful festival has been completed without the dopst soundtrack in the city. The all-vumen DJ lineup was Straight Heat: DJ Tracy Steel, Princess Cut, Queen of Hoods, C. Devon, DJ Boogie- each brought their own taste in the mixture and the crowd used to move like a Monday. It was not just music – it was the food of the soul for the soul, putting the Queens “boot on the ground”.

When Tina, Diamond Princess himself hit the stage? The building was shaken. She did not just perform – she was celebrated. Honored for his cultural influence, Tina joined a women’s lineup including Toya Johnson-Rashing, Tamika Malori and Jewel Burke Solomon. Each woman respected is a blueprint in herself – and is identified in front of a room filled with sisters? Invaluable.
Beauty, business and black talent everywhere
Grind Preity Fest converted every corner into a celebration of excellence. Brands owned by women lit the site with pop-ups with a characteristic of lux beauty, fashion and lifestyle items. Fellowships with other women owners, selfie all over the room, and exclusive swag bags? Let’s just say, if you know, you shine.
Founder’s heart
“This is more than a festival,” Mm J told Hype Hair. “This is an movement to empower women completely, unexpectedly and fearlessly. Five years down – and we are just starting.”
